VISTEON
has developed an electric compressor which has state-of-the-art design that includes
an efficient scroll compressor controlled by an on-board electric motor and
integrated power electronics.
Some Ford Galaxy, Mondeo, S-Max are built with
the same air conditioning compressor. The Original Equipment Manufacturer
Numbers (OEM numbers) are Ford 9G9N-19D629-LA, Ford 9G9N-19D629-LB.
The air-conditioning system of these
vehicles was assembled with a Visteon VS-16 compressor. Manufacturer numbers: Visteon 1683959, Visteon 1707371.
These ac units seem to be interchangeable.
